Just a reminder that National Public Lands Day is coming up next
Saturday, September 25th! If you as an individual, group, troop, or
family want to come out and celebrate this nationwide event by taking
part in projects in the park, please let me know and I will sign you up!
We will be creating a new fishing area for visitors, putting in
horseshoe pits, rehabbing a baseball field, landscaping the front of the
visitor center, doing a trail project and much more.
If you have already registered as a group, please let me know your
latest tally for attendees. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Pine
Grove Picnic Area (adjacent to the visitor center) at 8:30am. We will
work until 12:30.
