Council uses cutting edge technology for the 2009 annual report available online to everyone.
2. 4-H National Online Giving Program Sends Funds to State, County Programs
New program makes it easier for 4-H supporters to donate to National 4-H Council or directly to local areas.
3. 4-H Debuts in Times Square
4-H PSA airs on the CBS “Super Screen” on 42nd Street in New York, while 4-H youth survey the public about the organization.
4. Colorado 4-H Youth Prepare for “Power of the Wind” with State Competition
4-H youth in Colorado test their ingenuity and creativity by designing and building their own wind powered machines.
5. Oklahoma Celebrates 100 Years with Green Tie Gala
4-H clubs in Oklahoma concluded a year-long celebration of their centennial anniversary with a “Green Tie Gala” Nov. 6 in Oklahoma City.
6. Local 4-H Youth Build Robot for Police
Indiana youth develop leadership, thinking and engineering skills while building a robot for Huntington City Police.
7. Autographed “Simpsons” Script Raises Funds for 4-H
Social networking fuels interest in the auction of an original production script, which features Bart Simpson joining 4-H.
