Prince William 4-Hers Attend 4-H State Congress At Virginia Tech!

A lively yet well-behaved group of Prince William 4-Hers attended 4-H State Congress at Virginia Tech in June. Mrs. King and Mrs. Thies were their chaperones and they had the best time as well!
Read what Rose Dunn has to say about her experience:

"Walking, laughing, eating, being videotaped while sleeping during the All Star Tapping, screaming...lots of screaming: This was my first year at Congress. I learned that if you scream and cheer loud enough, you really do lose your voice! However, thankfully, the public speaking competition was before that happened. My speech, "The Value of Procrastination" successfully won first place followed closely by Abby Poole who won second. Although the competitions were a blast,I still couldn't pick a favorite part of this amazingly awesome week. Not only can I not wait for Congress next year, but I plan on going all the way to National 4-H Congress in the future. Next goal -president of the USA!
