4-Hers Would You Like to Become Involved at the Ben Lomond Historic Site?

Read this from David Born, Site Manager at the Ben Lomond Historic Site:

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a past time? Have you ever thought it would be fun to experience life as our ancestors lived? Is gardening something you are interested in? Ben Lomond Historic Site located at 10321 Sudley Manor Drive in Manassas is beginning to establish a number of programs that might interest you. We are recruiting interested people to assist us with several tasks. Ben Lomond has a 5000 square feet antique rose garden and are in the midst of developing an heirloom kitchen garden. We are also developing a number of programs that will enable interested folks an opportunity to participate in living history events. Perhaps you or a member of your family has sewing skills or knitting. We would be very excited to hear from you if any of the opportunities sound good to you. You would be introduced at ground level to these developing program ideas and help to bring this historic site to life. Please send questions or comments to David M. Born, Site Manager at dborn@pwcgov.org or call me at 703 367-7872.
